FITZ FAMILY is a family troupe of jugglers that has been performing since 1992. The family travels throughout the United
States with a mission to encourage people of all ages to discover, celebrate and use their unique gifts in the Lord's service.
They use a combination of juggling, humor and audience participation to share a gospel-centered message.
The leader of the troupe is
Mark Schoepp, "Father Fitz". Although he was a Director of Christian Education (DCE) for
many years, he always had his eye on juggling and it was only natural to teach his children. He is now back in parish work
as well, in Aurora, IL.
Samuel, "What Fitz" (age 21), can juggle just about anything-balls, rings, scarves, knives, torches, and yes, even
rubber chickens. Besides juggling, he makes unicycling look easy. However, after seeing him balance on one wheel 6 feet up
in the air, you know it's taken many years of practice.
Gideon, "Quitz Fitz" (age 18), is the youngest and their last child (they called him 'quits'). He has been juggling
since he was three. His multiple talents combined with his humor make him an entertaining performer.
Rebecca, "Mother Fitz", does all the hard work. Besides running the sound board, she does just about everything else
to keep this group together and going.
Isaac, "It Fitz", is the oldest son (25) who has graduated from Valparaiso Universty with a theater major and now also
works at Looking Glass Theater in Chicago.
Jenica , "Miss Fitz", our oldest child (27), is married to Wes and they live in Minneapolis, MN. Nica and Wes also
added a grand child to the family - little Charlotte Sophia, and they are also touring as
HappyFunTime, a comedy improv troupe.
Whether you have seen them before or this is the first time, you will not want miss this entertaining family and their unique
show.
