Here are just a few ideas to help get the word out about your event. We all want a well attended event, so we encourage you to take the time and effort to publicize it.

Bulletin Inserts
Use bulletin inserts to inform your congregational members and friends about the upcoming event. We have enclosed one that you can use or you may like to make your own. Bulletin inserts can also be used as a flyer. Sometimes local businesses will allow you to leave a stack of flyers at their check out counters. If you have a Sunday school or day school, the flyer can also be sent home with the students. They can also be left on windshields and left in mail boxes door to door.

Posters
Our 9x12 inch posters are designed to be posted on bulletin boards or walls within your church and elsewhere. Many places (grocery stores, shopping malls, etc.) will have community bulletin boards where you can post local announcements. The poster comes with a sticker where you can add the necessary details of the event or you can make your own and paste it over top. If you would like more posters, just give us a call. We’d be glad to send you more.

Local Radio and TV
Local radio and TV stations often make public service announcements. Use any of the information in our packet for the announcement.

News Releases
A news release can be given to your local paper. Here is an example:

FITZ FAMILY TO PERFORM AT
(name of church).

Please join us on day of week and date , at time of
day for an entertaining evening with Fitz Family. This family troupe of jugglers uses a combination of juggling and humor to share a gospel message and encourage people to use their gifts in the Lord’s service. You won’t want to miss it. Everyone welcome.

Website
We belong to a group of Christian artists that publicize their events on a website called churchnoise.com. We are able to publicize your event on this website but we require some detailed information. Note the attached form that can be returned to us with the detailed information for the website.

Postcards
Other than for private events, we normally send out postcards to people on our mailing list who live in your area to let them know about your event. You also may want to send postcards to you membership.
